It’s been just over two weeks since Cleo did herself an injury in the paddock, the cause of the injury is of course still a mystery. I posted about her here The Patient.
It has healed up very well and looks more like this now.
So it was off to the vet today to have the stitches removed. A ride in the car is always a highlight in a dog’s day.
All those smells when we arrived at the vet and got out of the car. The excitement, however, was quickly curtailed once we walked through that door. Peter the vet was waiting for us and Cleo had a sudden change of heart once in his room and on the table. With muzzle installed (for vet safety), the procedure took all of three seconds. Back off the table, appointment made for Panda’s shots and then back in the car heading home.
Of course a treat was in order when we got home. A chicken wing for each of the dogs. One for Cleo for being so brave and one for Panda because he missed out on a ride in the car.
Three gulps and they were gone!
